Prof. Dr. Oliver Germershaus, Hochschule für Life Sciences - FHNW Muttenz/Basel: "Biomaterial Engineering meets Drug Delivery: Elektrogesponnene Kompositsysteme für die Freigabe makromolekularer Wirkstoffe"
Date, time: June 18, 2015; 9:00 - 12:30 h. Place: University of Bern, Dept. Clinical Research, Murtenstr. 35, 3010 Bern; floor H, room 811. Aim: Nanotechnology has found its application in the manufacturing and clinical application of so-called "nanomedicines". In order to assure efficacy and safety of this group of drugs, the adaptation of knowledge obtained from fundamental research to development, manufacturing, clinical testing and application in therapy is needed. The Swiss Academy of Pharmaceutical Sciences (SAPhS) is organizing this expert meeting in order to establish an overview on fundamental research activities and capabilities in the area of nanomedicine(s) in Switzerland. In additon, translation into the regulatory, clinical and industrial practice shall be discussed. The outcome of this meeting will be summarized in a position paper. Organizers: Prof. Dr. Gerrit Borchard, School of Pharmaceutical Sciences Geneva-Lausanne (EPGL) and SAPhS; Dr. Peter Wick, Empa. Program: einlprogr_.pdf
